Portland, OR (January 15, 2026) – A multi-vehicle crash with injuries blocked the intersection of Southwest Broadway and Southwest Jackson Street late Wednesday morning in downtown Portland.
The incident was reported at approximately 10:52 a.m., prompting a coordinated response from Engine 4, Medic 355, and police units. Upon arrival, crews found two vehicles obstructing the intersection, with one showing moderate front-end damage and signs of fluid leakage.
Emergency responders confirmed that all occupants were out of the vehicles when they arrived. Medics assessed those involved for injuries, and at least one person was transported to a local hospital for further care. The extent of injuries has not yet been officially disclosed.
Traffic was temporarily disrupted in the area as responders worked to clear the scene and conduct an initial investigation. This section of downtown Portland is a heavily traveled corridor, especially during late morning hours, increasing the urgency of the response.
