Encino, CA (July 7, 2026) – One person died, and at least one other was hurt after a four-vehicle collision on Sunday evening, July 5, in the 6400 block of North Lindley Avenue in Encino. The accident was reported shortly after 6:00 p.m.
Emergency units arrived and found multiple damaged vehicles. The wreck also brought down a power pole and wires, which were believed to be communication lines.
One person was extricated from a vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The person’s name had not been released in the initial report.
At least one other person, identified only as a 35-year-old woman, was taken to a nearby hospital. Her medical status was not immediately known. Investigators continue reviewing what led to the fatal crash.
