Quartzsite, AZ (January 22, 2026) – A devastating single-vehicle rollover crash claimed the lives of three individuals early on Thursday morning along Interstate 10 just east of Quartzsite, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The incident occurred around 5:45 a.m. on January 22 in the westbound lanes of I-10. DPS confirmed that three people were killed in the collision. Their identities have not yet been released pending official notification of next of kin.
Two additional occupants of the vehicle survived the crash and were transported to a nearby hospital. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed, and their current conditions remain unknown.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety reported that the vehicle came to rest off the freeway, and traffic along I-10 has not been impacted as a result of the incident. Authorities are continuing to investigate what led to the fatal rollover.
