Racine, WI (January 24, 2026) – A three-vehicle accident involving an ambulance occurred near the intersection of Douglas Ave and High St on the morning of January 22, leading to one person being transported to the hospital, according to Racine Police.
The crash took place shortly after 9:40 a.m. and prompted a response from emergency services. While officials confirmed that one individual was taken to the hospital as a precaution, it remains unclear whether any injuries were sustained as a result of the collision.
All three vehicles involved, including the ambulance, were towed from the scene due to damage. The roadway has since been reopened to traffic following a temporary closure for cleanup and investigation.
