Racine, WI (January 15, 2026) – A serious motor vehicle collision near 11th Street and Washington Avenue left one person trapped and possibly unresponsive inside a vehicle Thursday morning. The crash was reported around 9:00 a.m., prompting a rapid response from Engine One and Med One as well as other supporting medical teams.
Emergency crews arrived to find one victim still inside a damaged vehicle, with initial reports indicating uncertainty about the individual’s condition. A second person at the scene sustained a finger laceration and was also treated by medics. Fire personnel worked urgently to safely remove the trapped individual and provide immediate care.
The full circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation. Authorities have not yet confirmed the total number of vehicles involved or released updates on the condition of the injured parties.
