The Impact of Impaired Driving on Roadway Safety
Driving under the influence can affect coordination, reaction time, and judgment. These impairments increase the risk of losing control of a vehicle.
When a driver leaves their lane or roadway, it can lead to severe crashes, especially when other vehicles or people are nearby. Even a brief lapse in control can have serious consequences.
Staying sober behind the wheel and avoiding impaired driving can help reduce the risk of tragic incidents on the road.
