Derry, NH (June 22, 2026) – A 61-year-old motorcyclist died following a serious crash Saturday in Derry, according to local authorities.
The police and emergency personnel responded to Island Pond Road after receiving reports of a serious motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.
Upon arrival, first responders located the motorcycle rider and immediately began life-saving measures. The victim was transported to a local hospital for further treatment but later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities identified the rider as 61-year-old Christopher Chick of Derry.
The roadway was closed for several hours while investigators processed the scene and worked to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash. Officials have not released additional details regarding the cause of the collision. The incident remains under investigation.
