Ridgecrest, CA (January 11, 2026) – A fatal collision occurred on Friday afternoon just east of the Ridgecrest landfill, leaving at least one person dead, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash was reported around 2:38 p.m. near the intersection of South Jacks Ranch Rd and Bowman Rd.
