Riverside, CA (January 8, 2026) – A bicyclist was injured on Wednesday morning in a hit-and-run collision near the intersection of Iowa Ave and Palmyrita Ave, according to Riverside City Fire dispatch reports.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:52 a.m. on January 7. Emergency personnel responded to the scene after receiving reports that a cyclist had been struck by a black Dodge sedan, which fled the area heading southbound on Iowa Ave from Palm.
Responders arrived to find the injured cyclist in need of medical attention. The severity of the injuries has not been officially disclosed, but the incident was treated as an injury crash by first responders.
