Riverside, CA (January 8, 2026) – At least one person was injured on Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of California Ave and Arlington Ave in Riverside, according to reports from Riverside City Fire dispatch.
The crash was reported at approximately 12:16 p.m. on January 7. Emergency crews and deputies responded to the scene, where two vehicles were involved in a traffic accident. While deputies were present at the location, they were not involved in the collision itself.
Medical responders assessed those at the scene, and one or more individuals sustained injuries. However, the nature and severity of those injuries have not been confirmed at this time.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation. Authorities have not released details regarding the drivers or the events leading up to the incident.
