Riverview, FL (January 25, 2026) – A vehicle crash resulting in injuries and a roadblock disrupted traffic on Saturday afternoon along US-301 at Rivercrest Dr.
The collision occurred just after 3:09 p.m., prompting a rapid response from Hillsborough County Fire Rescue and local law enforcement. Crews arrived at the scene to find vehicles with significant damage and at least one person injured. Emergency medical personnel treated the injured at the site, and transport was arranged for further care as needed.
Due to the severity of the crash and vehicle placement, portions of US-301 were blocked, causing traffic delays in the area. Authorities worked to manage the scene while medics provided aid and cleanup crews began clearing the roadway.
Officials are currently investigating what led to the crash. It is not yet known whether speed, distraction, or failure to yield contributed to the incident.
