Cass County, MO (August 1, 2026) – An afternoon collision at the intersection of MO-D and MO-2 in Cass County left two people injured on Thursday, July 30, at about 2:45 p.m.
According to the crash report, a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling northbound on MO-D when a southbound Toyota turned into its path on MO-2. The Silverado struck the Toyota, and both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene. The 83-year-old Silverado driver suffered minor injuries, while a 79-year-old passenger suffered moderate injuries. Both were taken to Research Medical Center for treatment.
