Rochester, NY (January 11, 2026) – Emergency crews responded on Saturday to a serious crash with reported entrapment on the westbound side of the Inner Loop near St Paul St, where occupants were reportedly trapped inside a vehicle.
New York State Police and Rochester Fire units arrived on scene and immediately began rescue efforts to extricate individuals from the wreckage. The collision involved at least one vehicle sustaining significant damage, leaving occupants unable to exit without assistance.
The severity of injuries has not yet been fully confirmed, but emergency medical personnel were present to treat victims and prepare them for transport to nearby hospitals as needed. Traffic in the area was significantly affected as responders worked to secure the scene and investigate the cause of the crash.
