Rochester, NY (January 27, 2026) – A serious motor vehicle accident occurred on Monday evening in Rochester, leaving at least one person injured and prompting an Advanced Life Support (ALS) emergency response.

The incident was reported at approximately 7:48 p.m. on January 26 in the area of 551 N Goodman St. Emergency medical services and local fire personnel arrived at the scene to assist those involved in the collision. Given the ALS classification, the injuries sustained were considered potentially severe and required immediate medical intervention.

At least one individual was evaluated and treated on scene, with EMS transporting the victim for further care. The extent of injuries and the number of people involved have not yet been confirmed.

Police closed off portions of the roadway as crews worked to clear the area and conduct an initial investigation. The cause of the crash remains under review.
