Rear-End Collisions With Commercial Trucks Can Be Fatal
Crashes involving passenger vehicles and large commercial trucks often result in severe injuries due to the significant size and weight differences between the vehicles.
Major routes such as Interstate 88 carry both commuter and freight traffic through areas like Rock Island County, Illinois, where vehicles traveling at highway speeds may have limited time to react to traffic ahead.
When investigating these incidents, authorities typically examine driver actions, vehicle spacing, and roadway conditions to determine the factors that contributed to the collision.
