Penryn, CA (July 17, 2026) – A rollover accident involving multiple vehicles was reported early on Thursday morning on westbound I-80 near Penryn Road in Penryn.
The collision was reported at approximately 4:02 a.m. Initial dispatch information indicated a vehicle flipped over, and later updates stated four vehicles were involved. Two of the vehicles were listed as a black sedan and a gray sedan, both reported off the roadway.
Emergency units were dispatched to the site, and multiple tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles. All lanes were temporarily stopped during the cleanup process before lanes began reopening. The identities of those involved and any injuries were not immediately released.
