What should I do immediately after a car accident?
Move to a safe location if possible, check for injuries, call 911, and notify law enforcement so an official report can be filed.
Where do most traffic accidents happen?
Crashes are common at interchanges, on and off ramps, and other areas where vehicles merge or change speed quickly, such as near freeway exits.
