Sacramento, CA (January 8, 2026) – A serious two-vehicle collision left a pedestrian pinned beneath a car Wednesday morning in front of 5151 Myrtle Ave in Sacramento. The incident, reported just after 10:25 a.m., involved a black Nissan Sentra and a white SUV.
Fire personnel arrived on scene quickly and confirmed that one individual—initially believed to be a pedestrian—was conscious but trapped under one of the involved vehicles. Emergency responders worked urgently to stabilize the victim and extricate them from beneath the Nissan.
The collision caused significant front-end damage to at least one of the vehicles, and Jake’s Tow was requested to handle removal operations. Paramedics were called in to provide care and transport for the injured.
The circumstances that led to the individual being pinned remain under active investigation. Authorities have not released details on the victim’s condition but confirmed that the person was awake during rescue efforts.
