Why Crossing the Center Line Can Lead to Deadly Crashes
When a vehicle crosses the center line, the risk of high-impact collisions increases dramatically, often resulting in head-on crashes. Even at moderate speeds, striking oncoming traffic or another vehicle can cause severe injuries or fatalities.
Multi-vehicle crashes can complicate emergency response and treatment, as medical personnel must quickly evaluate and transport multiple patients. Factors such as road conditions, driver behavior, and visibility are all examined to determine how the collision occurred. Prompt medical care can be critical for those injured, while investigators work to understand the sequence of events leading up to the crash.
