Salisbury, MD (January 15, 2026) – A motor vehicle collision involving a passenger car and a large truck—possibly a State Highway Administration (SHA) vehicle—resulted in injuries on January 13 along Nanticoke Road in Salisbury, near the Food Lion grocery store.
Maryland State Police from the Salisbury Barrack were dispatched to the scene shortly after the crash was reported. According to initial information, the incident involved a black passenger vehicle and a large truck, which may have been performing roadway operations or parked nearby.
Emergency medical crews responded to the scene to evaluate and treat those injured. While the exact number of individuals involved and the severity of the injuries have not yet been confirmed, at least one person required assistance at the site.
Traffic in the area was temporarily disrupted as police and first responders managed the scene. An official investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash and whether road work or visibility may have contributed to the collision.
