San Carlos, AZ (February 25, 2026) – Two people were hospitalized after a small plane crashed northeast of San Carlos late Saturday night. The incident occurred about 20 miles northeast of downtown near Rocky Junction.
Reports show the aircraft involved was a Cessna 177B. The plane went down around 10 p.m. for reasons that have not yet been confirmed.
Emergency units responded to the remote area and worked to reach the crash site. A search and rescue team located the two occupants inside the aircraft and safely removed them from the wreckage.
Both people were airlifted to a hospital in the Valley. Officials said they were listed in stable condition. No additional information about their identities has been released.
