San Francisco, CA (January 13, 2026) – Three people were injured and hospitalized following a solo-vehicle crash near the Stonestown Galleria shopping center on January 11. The incident occurred at the intersection of Winston Dr and Junipero Serra Blvd, just a block from the shopping center’s parking lot.
According to the San Francisco Fire Department, a vehicle struck a traffic signal pole, knocking it down and causing significant damage. Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene and transported all three occupants of the vehicle to nearby hospitals. Officials have not yet released the victims’ names or the extent of their injuries.
The southbound lanes of Junipero Serra Blvd were temporarily closed while fire personnel and traffic investigators worked to secure the area and assess the damage. The intersection remained partially blocked until the damaged pole was cleared and the scene deemed safe.
Authorities are continuing to investigate what led to the crash. No additional information has been released.
