Los Angeles, CA (January 13, 2026) – Two people were injured on January 11 following a collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle on US 101 South at the connector to eastbound State Route 134. The crash occurred around 1:16 p.m. in the Los Angeles area, prompting a response from California Highway Patrol and local emergency crews.
According to CHP logs, the motorcycle was found down in the fast lane after an apparent impact involving a second vehicle. Preliminary reports suggest the crash may have been caused by an unsafe lane change, which contributed to the riders being thrown from the motorcycle.
Emergency medical personnel treated both injured individuals at the scene before transporting them for further care. Their conditions have not been released, but no fatalities were reported.
The incident caused temporary lane closures and traffic congestion along the southbound 101 and the SR-134 connector. Officers remained on scene to manage traffic and conduct an investigation into the sequence of events leading up to the crash.
CHP continues to investigate the incident and has not yet announced any citations or charges. Updates will be provided as additional details become available.
We send our best wishes to the injured parties and hope for their full recovery.
