San Jose, CA (January 18, 2026) – A high-priority medical response was initiated early Friday morning following a collision between a vehicle and a bicyclist at the intersection of Senter Road and Phelan Avenue in San Jose.
Engine 26 and emergency crews were dispatched to the scene around 2:28 a.m. on January 17. The crash occurred within Station 26’s coverage area and was treated as an urgent incident due to the involvement of a vulnerable road user.
Responders arrived to find a bicyclist injured in the roadway following the crash. Immediate care was provided at the scene before the patient was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The exact condition of the bicyclist has not yet been confirmed.
