Sarasota, FL (January 16, 2026) – An accident resulting in injuries occurred on Friday afternoon at the intersection of Desoto Rd and N Lockwood Ridge Rd, prompting a response from Sarasota County Fire Department crews.
The crash was reported around 5:08 p.m., and emergency responders arrived on the scene shortly after to assist those involved. At least one individual sustained injuries, and paramedics provided treatment at the scene. It is not yet clear whether anyone was transported to a medical facility for further care.
