Parma, OH (August 26, 2026) – A 69-year-old woman was injured Tuesday afternoon, on August 25, after a Parma City Schools bus struck her near Broadview Rd. and Brookdale Ave. The woman was using a motorized wheelchair when the bus hit her before 4:30 p.m.
The woman became pinned beneath the bus and was dragged about 100 feet.
Emergency units took the woman to a nearby hospital, where she was listed in stable condition. Students remained on the bus, but all were picked up by 6:15 p.m., and none were hurt.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
