Louisville, KY (August 24, 2026) – A man was hurt after the scooter he was riding was involved in a collision with a motor vehicle in downtown Louisville on Saturday, August 22. The crash happened around 5:20 p.m. at South 5th Street and Main Street.
Officers responded to the intersection and found that the scooter rider and a motor vehicle had collided. First responders took the man to a hospital, where he is expected to survive. The circumstances leading to the crash were not immediately clear. The condition of the motor vehicle driver was also not available. The incident remains under investigation.
