Semi Involved in Crash on I-44 & S Yale Ave in Tulsa, OK

The crash was reported at about 2:30 p.m. near the 5200 block east of I-44. Emergency units worked to manage traffic while crews cleared the vehicles, removed debris, and addressed the damaged light pole. Eastbound lanes reopened gradually before the roadway was fully opened to traffic. The involved parties were assessed for injuries at the scene.

Drivers were advised to avoid the stretch of interstate during the cleanup and use East Skelly Drive as an alternate route. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is examining what led to the crash.
