Fresno, CA (July 26, 2026) – Emergency units responded to a crash involving a semi-truck and two passenger vehicles on Friday morning on northbound SR 99 in Fresno. The collision occurred near North Motel Drive shortly after 3:00 a.m.
Officials with the California Highway Patrol said the crash involved a semi-truck pulling a trailer, a red sedan, and an unidentified sedan. A vehicle reportedly spun out, and several vehicles were left blocking lanes as crews worked at the scene. A Hyundai driver was found outside the vehicle after the crash.
Emergency units responded to the scene, and the Hyundai was later towed away. The roadway was temporarily affected while crews handled the crash scene. All lanes were reopened by approximately 3:52 a.m.
