How Commercial Truck Crashes Are Investigated
Crashes involving commercial trucks may require a detailed review because of the size and weight of the vehicles involved. Investigators may examine vehicle damage, roadway conditions, driver actions, and traffic patterns to determine how the collision occurred.
They may also review available records, witness information, and physical evidence from the scene. These details can help establish the sequence of events and provide a clearer understanding of the factors involved in the crash.
