Monroe, CT (July 8, 2026) – Six people were brought to a hospital on Monday evening, July 6, after a three-car collision at Wheeler Road and Route 110 in Monroe. The accident was reported around 6:15 p.m.
The police said one vehicle was traveling north on Wheeler Road and did not stop at a stop sign before being hit by a vehicle on Route 110. A second vehicle on Route 110 was also hit.
Three drivers and three passengers were involved in the wreck. Fire officials said all six people were brought to a hospital by Monroe EMS.
Traffic was detoured while police documented the roadway and vehicles. The crash remains under review.
