South Bend, IN (January 25, 2026) – A crash involving injuries was reported Saturday evening at the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and North Eddy Street in South Bend. Emergency crews responded around 8:00 p.m. on January 24 after receiving reports of a vehicle collision with at least one person injured.
Upon arrival, first responders found the vehicles involved still positioned in the center of the intersection. One individual was reportedly experiencing neck pain as a result of the crash. Paramedics assessed the injured person at the scene and provided initial care. The extent of the injuries has not yet been confirmed.
The crash caused a temporary disruption to traffic at the intersection while emergency personnel worked to clear the roadway and assist those involved. No details have been released regarding the number of vehicles or the cause of the incident.
