Why House Fires Can Cause Serious Injuries
House fires can lead to burns, smoke inhalation, and other life-threatening injuries. Even early detection and rapid response may not fully prevent harm, especially for occupants who are inside when the fire starts.
Firefighters focus on quickly extinguishing flames, rescuing residents, and securing the scene. Smoke alarms, fire-resistant materials, and early evacuation can reduce risks, but residential fires still pose a serious threat due to heat, toxic fumes, and rapid spread.
