We send our best wishes to the injured driver as he recovers.
How Does Road Rage Increase the Risk of Highway Crashes?
Road rage incidents can quickly escalate into dangerous driving behavior. Aggressive actions such as tailgating, sudden lane changes, or sideswiping another vehicle can lead to serious collisions.
On highways like I-89, vehicles travel at higher speeds, which increases the force of impact. Even a brief loss of control can cause a car to leave the roadway or strike barriers. Exit ramps can be especially hazardous because they narrow and curve.
Leaving the scene after a crash can delay medical help and complicate efforts to identify those involved. Staying calm behind the wheel and avoiding confrontations can help reduce the risk of road rage-related accidents.
