Medical emergencies can lead to sudden crashes
Medical-related crashes can occur when a driver experiences a sudden health emergency, such as a heart attack or loss of consciousness, while operating a vehicle.
These situations can make it difficult or impossible for the driver to maintain control, sometimes resulting in rear-end collisions or other impacts. Unlike many crashes, these incidents may not involve negligence but rather an unexpected medical event.
Regular health checkups and awareness of medical conditions can help reduce risks, but sudden emergencies can still happen, making roadway safety an important shared responsibility for all drivers.
