Willard, MO (July 17, 2026) – A 16-year-old Springfield boy and a 52-year-old Buffalo woman were both seriously hurt in a head-on crash on Route AB, approximately 200 yards south of Willard, on Tuesday afternoon, July 14. The collision was reported at 3:30 p.m.
The teen was driving a 2006 Lexus IS250 eastbound when he crossed the centerline and struck a westbound 2021 Nissan Rogue head-on. Both vehicles were totaled in the wreck.
The teen was taken to Cox Hospital by private vehicle with moderate injuries. The Rogue’s driver was transported by ambulance to Cox South with moderate injuries as well. The accident remains under active investigation.
