West Palm Beach, FL (June 3, 2026) – A 17-year-old passenger lost his life following a collision involving a Tesla and a dump truck on Summit Boulevard in West Palm Beach on Tuesday.
According to a crash report from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the wreck occurred at about 1:33 p.m. A 2021 Tesla was traveling eastbound in the left lane of Summit Boulevard with 17-year-old Aiden Hill as a passenger. At the same time, a dump truck was traveling eastbound in the right lane, occupying two lanes, while turning down a canal bank to deliver materials.
Investigators said the Tesla approached the truck and failed to slow down. The front right portion of the Tesla then struck the left rear of the dump truck. A GMC Yukon was also traveling westbound on Summit Boulevard when the collision occurred, though available information did not indicate that it was directly involved.
Additional details regarding the circumstances surrounding the fatal accident have not yet been released.
