Tolland, CT (July 7, 2026) – A 17-year-old pedestrian died on Sunday night, July 5, after a vehicle collision on Crystal Lake Road, also known as Route 30, in Tolland. The accident was reported around 10:40 p.m. near the 600 block.
The pedestrian was identified as Blake Michael Lemire, 17, of Coventry. The police said a black 2016 Ford Taurus was traveling south on Crystal Lake Road when it struck Lemire.
Life Star was requested after the wreck, and Lemire was pronounced dead at the scene. Part of Route 30 near Crystal Lake Road was closed during the initial investigation. Authorities continue reviewing the facts surrounding the fatal pedestrian case.
