Thermal, CA (March 14, 2026) – A woman was killed, and three others were seriously hurt after a head-on crash in the Thermal area.
The collision was reported around 2:05 p.m. on Friday, March 13, in the 58000 block of Fillmore Avenue near Avenue 58. Authorities said two vehicles collided head-on, causing major damage to both cars.
Emergency units arrived at the scene and found several people suffering from traumatic injuries. Four of them were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment, with two transported by helicopter and two by ground ambulance.
Officials confirmed the injured victims included two men, a woman, and a minor. The woman was later pronounced dead after the crash.
The roadway was closed in both directions for several hours while crews worked at the scene and cleared the wreckage.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash, and more details will be released as soon as they become available.
