Thornton, CO (January 28, 2026) – Two individuals were injured following a collision involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle near 91st Dr in Thornton on January 28. The crash occurred in the early morning hours and brought a coordinated emergency response to the scene.
According to dispatch audio, the incident involved a black Toyota Avalon and a motorcycle in the northbound lanes just before 91st Dr. Emergency crews from Engine 17 and Med 72 responded, along with the local sheriff’s office, to assess injuries and secure the area.
Both parties were found outside of the vehicles and evaluated for injuries. While responders noted that the situation appeared stable at the time, the exact nature and extent of the injuries sustained have not yet been released. Authorities separated those involved as part of standard post-crash procedures while investigating the circumstances.
The northbound lanes experienced partial disruption during the response. Crews remained on scene to assist and ensure all necessary safety measures were in place as traffic resumed.
