Why Intersection Accidents Can Lead to Serious Injuries
Intersections require drivers to make quick decisions while watching traffic signals, signs, and vehicles approaching from different directions. Failing to follow traffic controls can increase the risk of serious roadway accidents, especially when vehicles enter a crossing area unexpectedly.
Investigators often examine vehicle damage, traffic patterns, and roadway conditions after an intersection accident. These details can help show how the vehicles moved before and during the collision. Drivers can reduce risks by slowing near intersections, checking for cross traffic, and following posted signs before proceeding.
