Charlotte, NC (September 9, 2026) – Three people were hurt in a multi-vehicle crash on Monday evening on Interstate 485 in University City.
The wreck happened shortly before 5 p.m. on the inner loop just before University City Boulevard. The collision blocked three lanes of traffic.
One person was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, according to MEDIC. Two others suffered minor injuries. The available report did not provide the number or types of vehicles involved. All three blocked lanes have since reopened to traffic.
