What Happens After a Multi-Vehicle Crash With Overturned Vehicles?
When multiple vehicles are involved in a crash, investigators examine the order of impacts and the movements of each vehicle before and after the collision. Vehicle positions, damage patterns, and roadway evidence can help show how the crash developed.
Overturned vehicles may require additional scene work because investigators must document the final locations and conditions of the vehicles. Factors such as traffic flow, lane movements, and visibility may also be reviewed. These details help create a clearer timeline of events and provide a better understanding of what happened during the crash.
