Hewitt, MN (September 12, 2026) – Officials are investigating a roadway collision that injured two people on Thursday evening, September 10, at Highway 71 and Highway 210 in Todd County.
The collision occurred around 5:35 p.m. A Subaru Solterra was traveling west on Highway 210 when it entered the intersection at Highway 71 and collided with a northbound Nissan Pathfinder. The Nissan then collided with a 2014 Peterbilt semi.
The Nissan driver, 75-year-old Richard Dennis Steinert, and passenger, 68-year-old Emily Jane Steinert, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Astera Health. The Subaru driver, 38-year-old Carmen Ann Larson, and semi driver, 40-year-old Devin Lee Hines, were not injured. The incident remains under investigation by troopers.
