Sheridan Township, MI (July 28, 2026) – Deputies reported that three women were seriously injured after a two-vehicle impact at 30th Avenue and 17 Mile Road in Sheridan Township. The incident happened around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26.
Preliminary findings showed that a driver attempting a U-turn failed to yield to a Pontiac Grand Am. The impact sent both vehicles off the roadway and into a marsh. A 79-year-old Hastings woman, an 83-year-old Flushing woman, and a 71-year-old Swartz Creek woman were taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The 37-year-old Stanton woman driving the Grand Am was treated at the scene for minor injuries and released. The crash remains under investigation. We are thinking of those injured as they begin their recovery.
