Toledo, OH (January 18, 2026) – A 55-year-old woman sustained serious injuries Friday afternoon in a rollover crash near the hospital campus located on N Cove Blvd in Toledo. The accident occurred around 12:53 p.m., just steps from the emergency department, prompting a rapid response from nearby medical teams and first responders.
According to dispatch reports, the woman’s vehicle overturned in the vicinity of 2142 N Cove Blvd, coming to rest near the hospital entrance. Emergency crews quickly arrived and found the driver experiencing significant distress, with apparent head and chest injuries. She was also reported to be having difficulty breathing at the scene.
Medics stabilized the woman before rushing her into the trauma unit for advanced medical care. The severity of her injuries warranted immediate intervention, though her current condition has not yet been disclosed.
