Grant County, WI (August 26, 2026) – A 63-year-old man died Monday, August 24, after an SUV crashed into the back of his farm tractor near Scenic Road in Liberty Township, Grant County.
The crash happened around 11:09 a.m. The tractor driver, identified as Jeffrey Vesperman of Fennimore, was airlifted to a hospital following the collision but later died from his injuries.
First responders evaluated the driver of the SUV at the scene. No additional injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation. Additional details about what led to the collision were not immediately available.
