Trotwood, OH (January 9, 2026) – A school bus carrying over two dozen passengers was involved in a crash on Thursday afternoon in Trotwood, resulting in injuries to multiple children. The collision occurred around 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Natalie Ct and Castano Dr, close to Dellinger Rd.
According to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, the crash involved a school bus and an SUV. A total of 26 individuals were on board the bus at the time of the incident. Emergency responders rushed to the scene and confirmed that 13 children sustained injuries. Medics transported all 13 to nearby medical facilities for evaluation and care.
Individuals from the SUV were also evaluated by emergency medical services and taken for further treatment. While the exact nature of the injuries has not been disclosed, the swift response helped ensure that all injured parties received prompt medical attention.
