Woodbine, MD (September 2, 2026) – All lanes of I-70 were closed on Monday afternoon near Morgan Station Rd after a two-vehicle accident involving a commercial truck. The collision occurred around 3:55 p.m. in the eastbound lanes near Woodbine.
Preliminary information indicated that the commercial truck overturned after colliding with another vehicle. One person was extracted from the truck following the collision.
Emergency units were sent to the highway, and medical trauma personnel were requested at the site. By about 7 p.m., all westbound lanes had reopened, according to the initial report. The circumstances surrounding the collision remained under investigation at the time of the report.
