Tucson, AZ (January 22, 2026) – Several people were reportedly injured in a morning car accident that occurred at the intersection of S Park Ave and E 22nd St in Tucson on Thursday.
The crash happened around 8:30 a.m., causing disruption to morning traffic as emergency units responded promptly. Tucson Fire personnel and paramedics provided on-site medical attention to the injured, with at least one individual transported to a nearby hospital for additional treatment. The extent of the injuries has not yet been officially released.
Eyewitnesses described a heavy emergency presence in the area as crews worked to clear damaged vehicles and assist those involved. Both directions of traffic experienced temporary delays while officials assessed the scene and directed vehicles around the crash site.
At this time, authorities have not confirmed what led to the collision, but an investigation is underway. Speed and driver inattention have not been ruled out as contributing factors.
